Although published, broadsides from past centuries have had a high destruction rate and copies of any particular broadside may be extremely rare. For that reason, when we find them in an archival collection, our citation should fully cite both the broadside and the collection in which it is found.
EE 12.43 provides citation examples, including a 10 November 1756 broadside proclaiming the rights of whistle-blowers. (Plus ça change!)
