Can Layer 2 be omitted from subsequent citations to a previously cited record book, page and digital image if the person of interest is different?

EE4, section 8.21, pp. 297–298, notes 2 and 12, provide a model for omitting Layer 2 from a subsequent citation when the same parish, record book, page, entry number, person, URL and image number are involved.

1st Reference Note as given in section 8.21:

2. St. Louis Parish (New Orleans, Louisiana), Register No. 4 "Blancos y Negros" [Whites and Blacks], page 32, unnumbered entry, 24 May 1760 baptism of Therese, negresse au [of] Sr. Flamand," amid a group baptism of enslaved adults; imaged, St. Louis Cathedral, New Orleans, database with images, "Combination, 1759-1762," Archdiocese of New Orleans (https://nolacatholic.org/church-records : accessed 1 October 2023), image 50 of 115; the register label appears on image 18.

Subsequent note as given in section 8.21:

12. St. Louis Parish, Register No. 4 "Blancos y Negros," p. 32.

I’m wondering if the 1st Reference Note’s Layer 2 could be omitted if one were creating a subsequent citation to the same parish, register, page, URL and image but for a different person? Say, for example, a citation for Person X among the group baptism referenced above. (I found the downloadable image at the nolacatholic.org site to be illegible, so I can’t provide a specific person as an example.) Could one simply use the text of note 12, above:

   St. Louis Parish, Register No. 4 "Blancos y Negros," p. 32.

Or could one merely add the name and identifying information of Person X to the above example:

   St. Louis Parish, Register No. 4 "Blancos y Negros," p. 32, Person X, [identifying information].

Or does this situation require the creation of another 1st Reference Note, similar to the example provided in EE4 with only the person’s identifying information changed?
