another layed question - church records

OK, I promise I have some easier ones I am not posting about!!! I feel odd posting a second topic so soon after my first but...I will anyway.

Church records...I am dealing with English Parish Register Transcripts (aka Bishop's Transcripts) [7.38] with an online database with images [7.18] and original files that are now at an off-site archive [7.12] on top of the original records being files instead of a book/volume.

I have come up with:

Hackness Parish (Yorkshire, England), "Hackness Parish Register Transcript [Bishop's Transcripts], 1781-1799", unnumbered loose pages arranged chronologically, John Hunter baptism, 23 November 1788; accessed as "Yorkshire, Bishop's Transcripts of Baptisms," database with images, FindMyPast (http://www.findmypast.com : accessed 21 November 2015); original files held within York Diocesan Archive, Borthwick Institute for Archives, York, England.

I used "Hackness Parish Register Transcript" instead of a variant of "Bishop's Transcripts" because the initial image in the set uses the title Parish Register Transcript as does the Borthwick Catalogue (record group  GB 193 PRT). Also the cover of the file uses "P.R.T."

The PRTs as a whole do include further years (1600-1912) but there are separate "files" breaking up the years and mine falls in the 1781-1799 file.

I debated on including "original files held..." but since the files are no longer with the parish church, I did include it.

There is a secondary "database" at FindMyPast that gets one to the same image as the above, but it is browseable as opposed to searchable. And since both take you to the same image (#186 of #648) I went with the one that is searchable, which is the one I used, by the person's name.

Comments?

Niteowl, while time constraints do not allow me to retrace your steps through this record set at FindMyPast and then study the record set to ensure there are no other quirks that need to be addressed, it's clear that you understand the principles and are making every effort to identify the record as correctly as possible. Your proposed citation also well organizes the critical components.

Thank you for looking at my proposed citation! I now only hope I can get a little bit faster at this! The "new" citation I have is a far far cry from what my previous citation looked like which primarily only referenced the FMP database. So there is quite a difference!

Thank you so much niteowl1851 for posting this citation. You are light years ahead of me, and have saved me tons of work and frustation! It is exactly what I need.

Lo, I am very happy to have been of help! Please don't think I am light years ahead of you though...I have only had EE for 3 weeks!  I spent a lot longer than I want to admit on the citation above! I'm glad if it helps you in any way though!
