Citing marriage announcements/obituaries in a newspaper column

"MARRIAGES.," Hartford Daily Courant, 18 Apr 1866, digital images, Ancestry.com (http://www.ancestry.com : accessed 3 Nov 2012), Historical Newspapers, Birth, Marriage, & Death Announcements, 1851 - 2003. "HICKOK--NEARING--In West Granby, April 3, by Rev. J. Simpson, Gilman C. Hickok, of Boston, and Jessie A. Nearing, of West Granby."

1) "MARRIAGES." appears at the top of a newspaper column for several marriage announcements, one of which is quoted above.  Is it correct to include it in the citation or should that only be done if it were connected to a specific announcement?

2) Should the period be retained or should I instead simply have "MARRIAGES,"?

3) Am I correct in retaining the capital letters or should I instead simply have "Marriages."?

Titles in published works often violate standard punctuation and capitalization. EE 2.76 provides the foundational rule that applies here: when we construct our own citations, "we are expected to use the proper punctuation for clarity." Chapter 12, which treats publications specifically, elaborates upon this considerably at 12.26 and provides various examples.
