I have a couple of questions regarding a citation for a guardianship bond, originated at the county level, but archived at the state.
I'm using 8.20 (from EE 2nd ed.) as the basic model. My first question has to do with citing the file and document as separate elements. In this case, the bond is the only document within the file, so do I need to cite both?
My second question has to do with the repository. The Georgia Archives are now part of the University System of Georgia, so should I include that information?
Here is what I have drafted so far:
Source List Entry:
Georgia. Gilmer County. Records of the Probate Court. Guardianship Records, 1835-1939. Record Group 161-2-4. Georgia Archives, Morrow.
First Reference Note:
Gilmer County, Georgia, Guardianship Bond, 1876, Harvey D. Ward; Gilmer County Guardianship Records, 1835-1893, Records of the Probate Court, Record Group 161-2-4; Georgia Archives, Morrow.
Subsequent Note:
Gilmer Co., Ga., Guardianship Bond, Harvey D. Ward, 1876.
I've worked on this for quite a while and have thoroughly confused myself. Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks,

Question 1:
Let's answer this by posting a couple of other questions:
Sometimes, redundancy has a good reason to exist.
Question 2:
If the records themselves have moved to a new location, then we would no longer be able to cite the records as we once did. In this case, however, the records have not moved. They are still in the same repository. The fact that the repository is administered by the University of Georgia rather than a different archives administrator wouldn't affect the citation.
