EE digital version question

I'm not sure this is the best forum as none of them fit my question exactly. I am using Evidentia software and it includes EE references by page number for each of the templates that it uses to create citations. I am wondering if the page numbers will match only the printed book or also the digital book. I'd love to have the physical book but since it's OOP and copies are $75+, the digital version would fit my budget better. That said, if the page numbers that are referenced in Evidentia don't match the digital version, I'm better off investing in the hard copy. Thanks for any insight you can offer.

MaryAnnK,

First, let me hasten to say that EE is not at all out of print. We don't let that happen. At any given time, this or that dealer may have sold out the stock on its warehouse shelf—it sometimes happens when, say, a new online class starts and there's a rush of orders—but new shipments are easy to get. In the meanwhile, just try a different dealer.

As for pagination, with each revision of EE, we've labored hard to preserve the original pagination for each topic. The latest edition, the 2d revised edition, is exactly the same in the print and digital version.

Thank you - that is helpful. Are there certain dealers to look at that regularly carry it? The only hard copies I have seen are on amazon for around $75 - is that the sticker price?

Mary Ann, all the major booksellers and thousands of smaller ones in around the globe offer EE.  The publisher's price is $59.95; it's featured at that price on the home page of the publisher's website. (www.genealogical.com). Checking several bookellers just now, the best price I've found is at http://www.legacyfamilytreestore.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=5, which offers it at $49.95.
