Citation Issues

EE, I am researching the neighbors of several different subjects within one case study. I am searching through marriage indexes for the indexed marriage record of each neighbor. I wish to see if the wife of each neighbor has a certain surname or not. I am using the index citation model on page 438. However, I need to list several index records, not just one as in the model. What is the best way to accomplish this withpout being wordy? T. Mills

Citing a record from the internet is relatively straight forward. Ok it can have its quirks! My challenge is citing a digital image of a record that is only available on an intranet. I did a word search on my trusty electronic version of EE and intranet produced no results. 

The Minnesota Historical Society has an online website. On the internet you can view a "Birth Certificates Index." This index covers the years 1900-1934. However, when you are physically at the Minnesota Historical Society this same index also contains a link to the actual document.

I am working on citing photographs that I have personal taken. The first bunch is primarily from cemeteries. My plan is to add the citation to the description of the photograph in my Ancestry tree. By adding the citation to the photograph anyone who links the photograph to their tree the citation goes with the photograph.

The following are two options I have come up with. The first is based EE 5.11. The second is based on Chicago Style.

Census of Ireland...are there models for these records in the new 3rd revised 2015 edition?

I am part of a private family group on Facebook where we share photos and information.  How do I accurately cite these posts when I use photos or relationship connections? 

I want to cite a newspaper article from a film from the Family History Library.  The film series is titled, "Annals of Savannah : 1850-1937, a digest and index of the newspaper record of events and opinions, abstracted from the files of the Savannah Morning News."  The particular film that I am citing is film #1613424, 1888, 1880-1890.

I'm not understanding the difference between these two categories. For example: p. 270-72 provides examples for databases for HeritageQuest and Ancestry and the example for Digital images for Ancestry. To add to my confusion I have seen both HeritageQuest and Ancestry cited as "database and image" in the same citation. Add FamilySearch and Fold3 to the group providing census information and my brain acts like a GPS - always "recalculating." While the examples differ for the database and images, I'm not understanding why.

After our discusson on another question about Family Tree Maker, Templates vs Free Form, I went back to QuickLesson 19, to help me refresh my understanding of Layering. You layed out the layering very well, and I thank you.

In looking at QuickLesson 19, I was reminder of at least one place where I saw the Website Title show up.

I have used Heritage Quest for a number of years to cite census sources. Since Ancestry is involved the url now reads : ancestryheritagequest.com

Is it advisable to make that change in all of my citations? Are there other items I should look at in the citations as well?
