What is a website? It’s a publication—a standalone publication—just like a book. It has divisions just like a book: a book has chapters, while a website has databases, articles, etc.
Why should we cite a book one way and use a different system for a website?
EE follows the same basic format for all standalone publications, whether it's a printed book, an e-book, or a website.
