Does anybody out there know how to properly cite sources from Arkivdigital, Riksarkivet, and familysearch when you are looking at digital images of Swedish Church records or at images of military records online? I cannot find any book or website that explains the proper way to do it.

Evidence Explained offers numerous models for citing Swedish records--along with discussions of those records--at 6.57, 7.18, 7.45 and 9.58. The models include online images from all three websites.

Thank you! I am at the library looking at the 2015 edition. I would like to buy the most recent edition because the 2015 edition does not have what you describe above. It only has it for family search. What is the most recent edition? I am having difficulty figuring that out online. There are several options for sale.

Okay, looks like 3rd Edition is what I want.

No that edition does not answer any of my questions except for family search. I am trying to figure out how to create the kind of image you want from the screen grab I copied and pasted onto a document.
I have asked many people these questions. No one has the answers. I will be back to you when I can figure out the technology to ask each question.

Swede_dane2021, the 3d edition revised (2017) is the latest edition, and the one from which I answered your question. Please remember one point: learning how to identify and evaluate documents is not about having a specific example to follow for each different thing we use. No citation guide can give an example for every kind of source, from every archive, every country, and every media-delivery method. The most important thing is to learn the principles of citation. Once we learn the principles, then we can knowledgeably cite anything we find anywhere.
