Hello,
I have completed a section of research that I've assembled over the last few years. Unfortunately, when I first began, I had NO idea where this would all lead, and I wasn't too concerned about the format of my citations. I've learned my lesson and now know better. I have been studying my Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 E.E. books, but it's been taking me a longgg time to digest everything, and when I construct my EE citations, I'm still not sure I've done it right. I'm willing to put in the hard work studying, double-checking, etc., but I wish I had someone who is more skilled and experienced to look over my work. I've asked for recommendations from the very kind folks at my local Family History Library, but I don't have much confidence in their knowledge of EE style, or citation writing in general. Chat GPT was even one suggestion...
A lot of my citations are somewhat "involved", requiring multiple layers (source of a source of a source) BUT most of them come from the same collection of German church books. I feel that if I nailed down the pattern for 2 or 3 of them, I could then follow the same pattern/template and complete the rest on my own.
My question - Can EE recommend (or tell me where to look for) a genealogist who is skilled in EE style citations who I could hire for some short-term citation help? I don't need someone to conduct hours of research for me. I've done that. I need someone who would help for an hour here or there when I get "stuck" or need some proof-reading, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you>
