Confederate Home roster

I am trying to cite a page from a roster of the residents of the old Confederate Home in Texas. Because it appears to be a manuscript, I have put the title in quotes instead of italics.

“Roster of (Registration Book) with separate index” (Austin: Texas State Library, 1990), 90; FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS73-9W55-R : accessed 8 September 2024), Image Group Number 7857290 > image 57 of 164, entry for L.A. Little.

Here is the FamilySearch catalog entry for this source: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/526164?availability=Family%20History%20Library

Matthew, you have almost all the essential pieces of information. The most noticeable thing that's missing is the author of the manuscript. From the title alone, we have no idea what this roster represents or the area it covers. For clarity, we might also make another couple of tweaks:

Entry data:  The entry for L. A. Little is on the original page and should be cited in that layer. FamilySearch and its microfilm did not create that entry.

Location of original: Putting the library’s location and date of filming in parentheses after the title (Austin: Texas State Library, 1990) makes it appear that the work is a publication. It is not. It is an original manuscript housed at the library.
