Development of "Subsequent Note" and "Source List Entry" for QuickLesson 26

Dear Editor; As I often do, I was re-reading, "QuickLesson 26: Thinking Through Ancestry.com Citations" on the EE site. It's a very useful "walk-through" of the process of developing citations for Ancestry data. I notice that the development of the companion "Subsequent Note" and "Source List Entry" for QuickLesson 26 does not appear to be addressed. Would it be possible to add a short bit to the QuickLesson to describe this aspect, thereby more fully addressing the subject?

Good idea, History-Hunter. It won't happen immediately because a big, bad deadline elsewhere is looming at the end of the month. But I'll add it then. Thanks for the suggestion.

One small thing that may have a bearing on the article...

Under "Citing the path", the following URL is shown and a caution about truncation is given:

https://search.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=1222

For some reason, I stumbled upon the following shorter form in the card catalog and it seems to work:

https://ancestry.com/search/collections/1222

I must admit, I can't say why.

History-Hunter, one is the search result, showing that it's a hit from a search. The other is a direct link. When I use your URL that contains the search characters, it takes me to the database for that collection, but converts the URL to the shorter form.
