When I add reference notes from two sources, but both relate to the same subject, I list them separately using two numbers. Is this correct?

EE 2.20 "Thorough research often yields multiple sources for the same information. ... We may cite all of them in the same reference note."
Using multiple source numbers at a single spot is not a practice recommended by any standard citation guide.
Incidentally, if you are new to EE, do read the first two chapters (the fundamentals of analysis and citation) before attempting to find specific examples in the twelve chapters that deal with specific source types. Those first two chapters are essential to understanding both evidence analysis and source citation.
