I am unsure how to properly cite a telephone conversation with a cemetery sexton that I called this morning to obtain the grave location (section, lot, space) for my ancestor. I'm not sure if I should use a format like an interview with a relative or if there is another way to do this properly. I'd also like it to mention that the sexton had to look up the information using their older "card catalog" as she could not find the information on their computer.
Here is what I have so far:
Barbara Washington, sexton of Southern Memorial Park Cemetery, Hollywood, Florida telephone conversation with David Paul Slager Jr. (10 July 2023); transcript privately held by interviewer [address held for private use], 2023. [Sexton had to use their card catalog to find the burial information, as their computer could not find the person of inquiry.]
Please let me know if I'm on the right track or the page number in Evidence Explained (I have the Second Edition) that will provide the format for the proper citation method.

You nailed it, David! The only tweak EE would make is to drop the square editorial brackets. Those are for when you alter something someone else wrote--as when it is necessary to correct a title or a quote. You're the author of that footnote, so you simply write your own words.
