Citation Issues

I'm interested in how Ms. Mills and the other forum members handle identification of published microfilm when researching historical newspapers. 

1) It seems that most major publishers (University Microfilms, Bell & Howell) only provide a date range rather than a roll number.  I record all the identifying information from the box label and title frame for my working notes.  But when compiling a narrative, would a date range be superflous for each cited article's research note? 

I am struggling with citations to websites such as US GenWeb which contain a variety of record types submitted by a variety of transcriptionist. When writing an article, the author/transcriber as lead model of publications makes sense to me.

Last night I was citing a Gale Seaton edition of the American State Papers. (See EE, First Ed., 13.32) Why is the 'Class' not italicized, but 'Public Lands' is? The arrangement of the front matter may be the explanation. The page containing the class and name of that eight-volume series is before the title page. I'm assuming that they put that page first so individual volumes could be found more easily. Thank you.

your guidance on.

I am working on creating citations for a letter I received in 2001. The letter was in response to a request for baptismal information. The author of the letter writes "Due to some difficulty in transcribing the handwriting, some of which is in Latin, some of the names may be incorrectly spelled."  Following this statement is a numbered list with 7 entries that where transcribed from the register including any other notations. The notations include marriages.

How does one cite a Facebook page as a source?  They're great sources for birthdates, marriages, names of children, etc...  How are they properly cited?  It's unclear how to do it on the Legacy program.  Thanks.

My parents marriage license also contains the marriage certificate on the same document.  Are these two different sources?  Do I create two seperate citations for the same source?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Allen.

FIRST QUESTION.

Is the year part of a directory title?

When the title page has something like:

In your "Citing Online Historical Resources" Quicksheet, I saw the model for Historical Records images.  The source list entry starts off:  "Washington, University of," rather than "University of Washington."  If this is covered in EE, I couldn't find it.  What are the guidelines for rearranging words?

It appears to me from the model that rearranging is something that one would only do in the source list and not in the reference notes.

EE 9.43 has examples of CD/DVD images and microfilm but not online images.  The New England Historic Genealogical Society's americanancestors.org Web site provides images of the original records in their Maassachuestts Vital Records, 1841-1910 database that includes a Rehoboth death record that I have in my data.  How will this citation differ from the examples given?
