I've had a hard time with this one. I have both church records and census records to cite from the Danish Archives online. Both are on the same website in different areas. For now, let’s just start with the church records.
Part of this question is the proper use of a path within the citation. Because it took me a while to learn how this website works, it can be tricky for newcomers to understand where to look for Danish Baptism Registries within this site, even with translation turned on, there are abbreviations that don’t translate. Therefore, I feel it is important to add a path to the citation directing readers where, exactly, to go to retrace the path to the record.
Additionally, because most of this website is in the Danish language, I’ve included translations in brackets to help readers understand what to click on in the path.
Here I’ve attempted a Danish Baptism citation, including translations and a path.
I guess I’m just looking for confirmation that I’m on the right path [no pun intended]. Alternatively, I could include the full URL, but always feel that is frowned upon.
97 Rigsarkivet [National Archives,] (Copenhagen, Denmark) ”Baptisms”, image 42, line 19, entry for Christopher Madsen baptized 27 Oct 1850 in Lindelse, digital images, Arkivalieonline [Online Archive,] (https://www.sa.dk : accessed 18 June 2017), Kirkeboger [Church Books] > Kirkebøger fra hele landet [Church Books from Around the Country] > Svenborg amt [county], Lindelse Sogn [parish] > Kontraministerialbog (1813 - 2003)[Ministers Log] > 1843 F – 1859 F.
Does this look reasonable?
Thanks

Great job, Connie! One wee
Great job, Connie! One wee bit of tinkering. If you put a semicolon at the end of layer one (after the place name and before "digital images"), it would clarify the division between the two layers.

Oh wow... nice. I was expecting a lot of changes.
